Terms & Conditions

1.       Payments and Rates

a.       Payments must be received in full either before services commence, or immediately upon the completion of services. Payments can be made by either Cash, through Square, or the website.

b.       Hicaps claims – receipt will be provided so you can make a claim directly with your health insurer.

c.       Alba.wellness does not offer an accounts service.

d.       Alba.wellness may vary rates from time to time and will advise by written notice.

e.       Services and products supplied will be charged separately.

2.       Bookings

a.       Bookings can be taken by phone, email or via alba.wellness online booking system.

b.       Bookings made online will receive confirmation via email or SMS.

c.       alba.wellness reserves the right to cancel any appointments if necessary and will book another time when convenient for the client

3.       Late Bookings

a.       Last minute bookings may be accommodated, although cannot be guaranteed.

4.       Surcharges

a.       For all Transactions incurring a surcharge, alba.wellness will add the most up to date surcharge transaction.

5.       Cancellations

a.       For cancelation or change of appointment, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice must be given.

b.       A 50% charge will be due if 12-24 hours’ notice of cancellation is given for massage appointments. (There is little chance we will be able to re-book cancelled appointments and may have turned other bookings down). Alba.wellness reserves the right to request payment in advance for future bookings, for any clients who have cancelled within 24 hours of their appointment with nil payment received for the last minute cancellation.

c.       In the case of cancellation, refund of any deposit paid is at the discretion of Alba.wellness and each circumstance will be taken on its own merits.

d.       Alba.wellness reserves the right to change/cancel any booking with immediate notice to the client. In the event of not being able to rearrange the booking to a convenient date and time, a refund of all monies paid to date will be given.

6.       Vouchers

a.       Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from date of purchase.

b.       Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

c.       Alba.wellness cannot be responsible for vouchers that have been lost, stolen or expired.

d.       Gift vouchers may be exchanged for any services at the clinic up to the value of the purchased voucher.

e.       Normal cancellation policy applies to Gift Vouchers. Clients may re-arrange Gift Voucher sessions providing more than 24 hours is given.

7.       Services

a.       These are the Terms & Conditions of supply of Services offered by Alba.wellness.

b.       In the event of any inconsistency with any other terms, these Terms & Conditions shall prevail

c.       Alba.wellness reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions from time to time and will provide reasonable notice to the client.

d.       Alba.wellness reserve the right to refuse any request that is deemed inappropriate.

e.       It is important that you arrive on time to any appointments. If you are late, this time will be taken off your appointment time in order to avoid inconvenience to other clients.

f.        Sessions are strictly by appointment only.

8.       Client Information

a.       All personal information held by alba.wellness is treated as private and confidential. It is to be used solely by alba.wellness and will not be disclosed to other parties.

b.       Personal information may be used to inform clients about other products and services that may be of interest (by means of telephone, email or post). Client details will be removed from the mailing list upon request.

9.       Complaints

a.       It is the intention of alba.wellness to provide clients with a high level of customer service at all times. However, if dissatisfied at any time please contact through https://www.albawellness.com.au or telephone 0494 303 460.

b.       If dissatisfied during a treatment or session, please advise at the time and all will be done to resolve the matter.

10.   Massage therapy

a.       All massage therapy services are strictly non-sexual. Any sexual advances will be considered offensive and you will be asked to leave immediately.

b.       Session times include a review of client intake form, a short discussion and any required range of motion assessment before the massage, and time to dress and complete payment after the massage, as well as any required post treatment range of motion review.  Post massage clinical recommendations for stretching exercises are also included in the session times.

11.   Limitation of Liability

a.       Clients are required to complete a signed Consultation Form prior to treatment. Alba.wellness can therefore not be held liable/responsible for reactions, contra-indications or injury via treatment once consent has been given.

b.       Alba.wellness cannot accept liability for events outside its control to include hazards and dangers within your home.

12.   Additional

a.       Alba.wellness reserve the right to refuse or terminate treatment to any client deemed to be behaving inappropriately or under the influence of drugs or alcohol. In this instance full payment is still required and no refund will be given.

b.       Alba.wellness require a quiet room and a smoke free environment to carry out treatments or classes when working away from their normal place of work.

c.       From time-to-time alba.wellness may seek advice from other practitioners in relation to your treatment, unless a referral to that practitioner, your details will remain confidential.

13.   Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

a.       If you accept alba.wellness’s offer to provide services to you, you will be regarded as having entered into an Agreement with Alba.wellness. This means you will be bound by the Terms and Conditions set out in this document. Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions may be by any one of the following

b.       Signing and returning a copy of this document accepting the Terms and Conditions.

c.       Stating in writing by email or by payment to alba.wellness that you accept these Terms and Conditions.
